About Me

During the late 70's / early 80's Lawrence was captivated by the drumming of such masters as Stewart Copeland and Clem Burke so he took the plunge and was first taught to play drums at The Salvatorian College, Harrow at the age of twelve, and his dear Mum saved up and bought his first drum kit, a beautiful gloss Trixon and that was it, the journey began.

There was no stopping him, after having a successful audition with a local orginals band that was on the edge of the New Wave / Punk scene his gigging career started.

After many years of gigging and recording with various acts and genres of music and after attending the Freddie Gee drum academy for 4 years being taught by Steve White (Paul Weller / Style Council), Gregg Bissonette (Santana/David Lee Roth), Craig Blundell (Session supremo) Neil Wilkinson (Westlife, X Factor & Van Morrison) and Donavan Hepburn (Take That, Blue)

Lawrence has now deceided to use his wealth of experience teach drums to beginners of all ages.

He has also attended Samba percussion courses and

performed with Sambuka UK
